Skokie Coyotes Travel Baseball 2025 season Tryout information:

The Skokie Coyotes are a Community Youth Travel Baseball Team of the Skokie Baseball and Softball League and are members of the LSFBL, Lake Shore Feeder Baseball League.  Our teams and players dedicate a serious amount of time and commitment to our organization and the game of baseball while taking pride in continuous development of skills in a competitive environment.

The league will be conducting travel tryouts for the 2025 season on the following dates and times:

Sunday August 4th –  1:00pm-2:30pm, Central Park East and West Field, 9350 Central Park Avenue Skokie
8U (Birthday not before 5/2/2016, primarily 2nd graders in 2024-2025 school year)
9U (Birthday not before 5/2/2015, primarily 3rd graders in 2024-2025 school year)
10U (Birthday not before 5/2/2014, primarily 4th graders in 2024-2025 school year)
11U (Birthday not before 5/2/2013, primarily 5th graders in 2024-2025 school year)

Sunday August 4th – 3:00pm-4:30pm, Central Park West Field, 9350 Central Park Avenue, Skokie

12U (Birthday not before 5/2/2012, primarily 6th graders in 2024-2025 school year)
13U (Birthday not before 5/2/2011, primarily 7th graders in 2024-2025 school year)
14U (Birthday not before 5/2/2010, primarily 8th graders in 2024-2025 school year)

Sunday August 4th – 4:30pm-6:00pm, Central Park West Field, 9350 Central Park Avenue, Skokie**A child is not eligible for 14U if they are in high school during the 2024-2025 school year.

15U Summer Team – Summer Tournaments only after IHSA Spring Baseball Season concludes – (Birthday not before 5/2/2009, primarily 9th graders in 2024-2025 school year)

Thursday August 8th – 6:00pm – 7:30pm, Central Park East and West Field, 9350 Central Park Avenue Skokie

All levels – 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U that could not attend the Sunday August 4th tryout.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING TRYOUTS:
Players can anticipate to showcase their skills in pitching (if applicable), fielding, batting and base running. All players are encouraged to wear appropriate baseball clothing (including cleats) and bring a glove, bat, helmet, and water.
