Niles North High School will be holding a FREE softball skills clinics this Saturday. Niles North coaches and varsity players will be on hand to work with the girls on fielding, throwing, catching, base running, etc. This event is perfect for girls of all ages!
WHY ATTEND:
- For our younger players, it is a fun opportunity to play on the new turf field, but also get some instruction from the Varsity players.
- For older players, it is a first step for the coaches to get to know potential players who will eventually play at the high school level. It’s an opportunity for your daughter to receive constructive feedback from the varsity players + coaches.
Even if your child is not planning to attend Niles North, we encourage you to sign up and receive some instruction from the high school level.
Where: Niles North High School softball field; enter off Lawler Avenue, parking or drop off in lot behind high school aquatics wing on the SW side of the building.
When: Saturday, May 4th from 2-3:30pm
What to bring: All your normal softball equipment, water
Cost: Free, but registration is required
THINGS TO NOTE:
- NO Metal Cleats – Only turf, molded/plastic or gym shoes
- If the weather does not cooperate, we will work with Niles North to plan a make-up time or possibly move clinic the indoors.
