For our youngest players interested in playing baseball in July, Skokie Baseball and Softball offers a summer program on
Saturday mornings and Wednesday early evenings from 7/7 – 8/4.

This league is for the following ages/levels:

The cost is just $30 per player. We encourage you to sign up even if you only expect to attend a few games. Players from all communities and skill levels are welcomed.
This league is run more informally then our spring session and is intended for instruction and fun. Typically during the summer session, Skokie Baseball and softball provides a time and a field for players to show up, and equipment, then divides into teams to play 1 or 2 games, depending on numbers. Ideally we will have enough players to create one Pinto game and one Shetland game (even if small), but levels may be combined if needed. No uniforms are provided–players may wear spring uniforms or any comfortable clothing (shorts not recommended). Parent volunteers are needed and required for this program to work. In addition to the traditional summer intersquad format, this year we will also be playing some actual games against neighboring communities.
